Criminal Care seeks Solution Architect
Criminal Care is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.

We are looking for you who are a solution architect today, whether junior or senior, who is passionate about one or more domains. We seek someone with knowledge of standard systems, in-house development, container development, and system architecture documentation, with a focus on everything being On-Prem and security being our top priority. Our environments are based on Microsoft and Linux, with .Net/C# being the main track for our development, but Java may also be involved.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your tasks, depending on the domain, will include specifying requirements for solutions against suppliers and designing and implementing solutions based on Microsoft and Linux technologies (Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux distributions) for both on-prem and container-based environments. Furthermore, you will design and evaluate architectures for systems that support mobility, including how mobile devices integrate with backend systems.
You will also create and be responsible for System Architecture Documentation (SAD) for all solutions that are clear, complete, and up to date, understand business needs, and translate these into sustainable technical solutions. Examples of other tasks include working with development teams and guiding them through the implementation of solutions while ensuring the highest quality and performance.
You will also work with system integrations and ensure that solutions work seamlessly in different technical environments while collaborating with our Enterprise architects based on the future technical strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:
- An academic degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent education combined with experience that Criminal Care deems relevant
- Certification in solution architecture
- Experience in solution architecture and development in both Microsoft and/or Linux environments (Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux distributions)
- Experience in creating and maintaining System Architecture Documentation (SAD) for technical solutions and architectures
- Experience in translating business needs into technical solutions and communicating technical concepts clearly
- Experience in taking responsibility for both technical design and documentation throughout the solution's lifecycle
- Excellent ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
- Good knowledge of development and/or purchased standard systems
- Good knowledge of security work related to architecture
Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD processes
- Understanding of security and compliance in on-prem and container-based solutions
- Experience working with documentation tools (e.g., UML, ArchiMate) and documentation standards
- Experience working with on-prem solutions and container solutions to create efficient and scalable systems
- Knowledge of agile development
